Darling Mummy’s minivan tee was inspired by a steady flow of phone calls from the designers’ gorgeous mommy friends lamenting the purchase of a minivan. Explained the designers: "We designed "too sexy" for these darling friends, as a subtle rebellion to what seems to be coming a parental rite of passage."
The designers themselves, however, don’t drive minivans. Sherri Aynn Collins zips around on her Vespa before meeting her girls at the bus stop while Alisa Christensen navigates Atlanta traffic in a German sports car (fitted with a car seat of course!).

Lauren of Urban Bloom loves the simplicity of the geometric shape of these earrings. An added bonus? Despite the size of the stone, the earrings are surprisingly lightweight.
To best showcase the earrings, Lauren recommends creating a mod look with a knit dress in a neutral black, ecru, or charcoal grey.
Fun fact about Lauren? She and her boyfriend are redecorating, and they sat on beach chairs for four months while waiting for their new couch to be delivered.

Ben Harnett was inspired by a WWII Helmet Bag, which evolved in a spell of 3am creativity into a bag that does more than double duty.
What to pair the bag with? According to Harnett, the versatile tote goes with anything and everything–from sweats to YSL.
Something you didn’t know about Hayden-Harnett? The company was started on April Fool’s day by two hardworking people and a slightly less hardworking cat. But they’re no joke.

Looking through old photos with her mom, designer Taylor Conner was inspired to create the Miram necklace. "My mom used to tie ribbons in my hair when I was a kid, and I was inspired to bring some of the playfulness of childhood into my work."
Taylor believes that jewelry should be inherently versatile, and she recommends pairing the necklace with anything from a wear-to-work suit to a wifebeater and jeans.
Goofy fact about Taylor? She can’t walk on moving escalators. She gets freaked out and has been known to fall over!

The classic shapes in nature juxtaposed against the romantic colors of Autumn inspired designer Courtney Galler to create the Brenna necklace.
The versatile piece can be paired with anything from a casual chic white button down and jeans to a powerful suit for the office. Courtney adds, "For a very of-the-moment look, pair Brenna with layers of beaded necklaces or chains in various lengths to make your own signature look."
Fun fact about Courtney? She has a very vivid imagination…and she has a strong fear of Spontaneous Human Combustion. Seriously.

Designers Meghan Parsons and Manuel Opp of jack&marjorie combine Italian military surplus materials (wool blankets, parachutes, and webbing) with feminine materials like vintage lace, brocade, and buttons to create one-of-a-kind handbags. We love their Evelyn handbag for its sophisticated marriage of materials.
Introducing jack&marjorie to us is Beklina, who runs her namesake family-owned and women-operated boutique that hand selects the best sustainable styles out there.
Beklina recommends pairing the Evelyn handbag with black skinny leg organic Loomstate jeans or an ivory alpaca wrap dress with tall brown leather boots.
Fun fact about Beklina? She’s obsessed with peacock feathers, and she draws a picture of a bird on every package she sends out for safe traveling.
$150 at Beklina.

Designer Jessica Poundstone wanted to incorporate her love of fun colors and modern botanical motifs into her wardrobe without giving up her head-to-toe black uniform. The solution? Her Petals Pendant.
The Petals Pendant can be dressed up (with a Little Black Dress) or dressed down (with jeans and a tee). But since it’s such a focal point, Jessica recommends keeping earrings simple–hoops, studs, or simple black drops look great.
Something you didn’t know about Jessica? She’s laughed her way through the Steve Martin movie L.A. Story at least 50 times.
$25 at Jewelry by Jessica.

Traditional meets modern in this leather-gold cocktail ring. Says designer Rickina Velte: "I like to always create pieces that are unexpected, and evoke an emotion, in most cases curiosity and happiness."
Rickina suggests pairing the ring with a wildly colorful top, flattering jeans, and black boots. Or, she suggests, you can funk it up a bit and wear an ultra mini skirt, colorful leggings, ballerina flats, and a simple top.
Fun fact about Rickina? She’s a total Racer chick. Her alter ego, Rexy, drives a 2002 Subaru WRX and enjoys racing and showing up guys in their slow street compact cars!
$48 at Spipo.
