Emily Watson is as much an artist as she is a designer. All of her production jewelry draws on structural elements from her art jewelry. And her art jewelry, specifically her enamel work, is what offers her the chance to work out both conceptual and technical ideas.
Fun fact about Emily? She and her husband have lots of animals–2 very furry samoyed dogs and 5 cats. Because her studio is attached to her house, the greatest obstacle she faces in her work is trying to keep fur out of everything she makes!
$200 at Emily Watson.

Fascinated by keys, designer Tiffany Lee was inspired to create the Heart Key necklace.
She recommends pairing the necklace with cotton or linen button down shirts with frills, lace, or neck scarves. Tuxedo style blouses, high necked knitted wrap dresses, or even simple low-necked tee shirts would also do this necklace justice.
Little known fact about Tiffany? She has an obsession with food as fashion–and loves Jeremy Scott’s junk food collection. Says Tiffany: "I painted watermelons on my shoes, I have watermelon and banana necklaces in my line, I have a skirt with a burgers and fries print."
$46 at Le Fashionista.

When a few fellow indie designers had suggested coming together to create a unique campaign for October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month – Jen of Juniper Designs quickly jumped on board – what resulted was Indie For Awareness. Jen created the Hope necklace specifically for this campaign, choosing the keyhole design for it’s overtly feminine connotations and the rose quartz for its healing properties as well as its hue!
Fun fact about Jen? She sips tea every afternoon in a delicate little cup while rocking to the likes of the Ramones and Sex Pistols!
Until the end of October, 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this necklace will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Foundation.
$85 at Juniper Designs.

While sorting white pieces of silk, lace, and satin, designer Krista Raak noticed how many different shades of white there are. Inspired, she set out to create a wearable composition of these pearly shades.
Her "Blanca" sash looks sweet with a simple outfit, complementing white or cream details and adding a hint of romance and femininity. She’s worn her personal "Donna" with jeans and a vintage white crochet top. Krista also recommends pairing the sash with a 1920s inspired ivory colored dress.
Krista has always loved crafting, taking items from "dull" to "beautiful. Case in point: When she was twelve, she was inspired to paint her white shoes to make them more "Interesting." Krista had finished three pairs of shoes before she called her mom to introduce her to this great new shoe collection, at which point she went from shoe designer to shoe scrubber.
$58 at Krista Raak.

Designer Betsi Goutal is tickled by how cute and cheerful the bunnies are on her Bunny Jewel ring.
So, go on, add a bit of cheer to your day. Pair the Bunny Jewel ring with a cute print tee and jeans for a dressed down look, or a big fluffy skirt, romantic top, and colorful necklaces for a fairy princess look.
Bet you didn’t know: When Betsi was very young, Mother Nature blessed her with rainbows in the sky over her street for two or three birthdays in a row. When her next birthday rolled around rainbow-free, she was so disappointed that she’s not sure she’s ever recovered.
$5 each at Zlanarama.
