Perfect for the friend who always has a book in her bag.
I love the retro-feeling colors and the cool punctuation marks. Prettier than Post-its, AND it appeals to my obsessive-compulsive side!
$8 at Fred Flare.

Mella dresses up flip flops. No longer the shoe for lazy days, Mella wraps the flip flop in comfortable fabrics from terry cloth to velvet and even comes in a platform heeled version for the vertically challenged. It’s no wonder these things are flying off the shelves at Fred Segal and Kitson!
$42 at Mella USA.

I think this makes the perfect gift because it’s an item someone might not purchase but would love to receive. Not only is it ergonomic — it’s designed to be held with only one hand and can hold a pair of chopsticks — but its sleek design makes for great conversation.
$30 at Flavour Design.

Of course, for every person you connect with for the holidays, there’ll be one you’re missing far from home. Send your faraway girlfriends your best with one of these cards, and they’ll think it’s cute as a button that enclosed is a bubble of Cargo’s signature lipgloss.
$20 for 10 cards at Sephora.

What does one get the man who has Everything? Something extravagant, and something unique, to be sure. But where do you go? One of our readers, Julia, turned our attention to the Annelli Collection.
We love their custom made cufflinks, especially their Money Changers Guild Cufflinks (shown at left). This particular piece is shown in sterling silver and custom colored blue enamel. Each piece is individually handcrafted in Italy the original artisanal way with wax molds. Orders generally take 6-8 weeks, but they’re carrying limited stock on hand for the holiday season.
$400 at Annelli Collection.
