Darling Mummy’s minivan tee was inspired by a steady flow of phone calls from the designers’ gorgeous mommy friends lamenting the purchase of a minivan. Explained the designers: "We designed "too sexy" for these darling friends, as a subtle rebellion to what seems to be coming a parental rite of passage."
The designers themselves, however, don’t drive minivans. Sherri Aynn Collins zips around on her Vespa before meeting her girls at the bus stop while Alisa Christensen navigates Atlanta traffic in a German sports car (fitted with a car seat of course!).

Check out LittleRuler.com to find toddler tees and other gear made for the children of the skater and rocker kids of the 80s.
Our personal favorite? The Weezer toddler tee. It’s never too early to introduce the little ones to The Good Life.

the blankee company’s blankees are a baby’s and Mommy’s dream-come-true! Not only are they super soft and cuddly with 2 different textures and satin borders to satisfy the tactile needs of little ones, but they’re machine washable too.
Fun fact about the blankee company? The founder’s girlfriend sleeps with her blankee every night! And his Grandma does too!
$99 at the blankee company.

This is one of the coolest things we’ve seen in a long time. Perfect for those who don’t get enough shuteye, the Axbo is the world’s first sleep phase alarm clock.
Getting enough sleep isn’t always about quantity–it’s also about where you are in your sleep cycle when you awaken. Axbo wakes you up at the Optimal point in your sleep cycle so that you’re not groggy upon awakening.
Genius….just genius.
€199 (US $244) (preorder) at Axbo.

I think this makes the perfect gift because it’s an item someone might not purchase but would love to receive. Not only is it ergonomic — it’s designed to be held with only one hand and can hold a pair of chopsticks — but its sleek design makes for great conversation.

New parents have already gotten all their basic baby needs (blankets, diapers, changing table, crib, etc. etc. etc.) taken care of in their many baby showers and you know how fast babies outgrow clothes. This gift is practical, sentimental and it lasts. It gives the new parents a place to collect their baby keepsakes; plus how many times have you heard parents coo over the teeny size of their baby’s feet?
