Some of this season’s prints & patterns, like this wholesome apple print from J Crew, can feel over the top in their sugary sweetness. To these wholesome prints, we love adding pieces that feel tough to achieve our signature mix of sweetness and edge. Here’s how to get the look:
1. Start with a wholesome foundation - a bright orange shell paired with a pleated apple print skirt.
2. Toss on a moto jacket (in a pastel peach, for a softer look) and a pair of spiked flats to add a bit of an edge to this girly look.
3. Finish off the look with polished accessories: a speckled pair of sunglasses and a structured top handle handbag in a classic shape.
