Tulle Underwire Tank
March 25th, 2011
Vintage French swimwear inspired this heavenly one-piece swimsuit, with its layers of sophisticated (and fast-drying) tulle. What we love is the versatility of the suit (you can remove the straps for a bombshell look) and its figure flattering cut - the layered tulle is kind to those not blessed with a washboard flat stomach. Grab this suit (or the bikini and brief version) now - it will surely sell out quickly.
$125 at J Crew.

I need this suit! After 4 c-sections, this will be just the thing to hide the stretched out skin above the incision line.
BTW- welcome back =*)

I’m not sure who curates this blog, but believe that you have a lot of fans. On a lark, I decided to check and am so thrilled to see a new post showcasing tulle on this abomination of a snow day!

Haha, now I feel like a copy-cat, but yay! You’re back! I was so worried, actually, about my number one clothes advice site having gone on some kind of hiatus

Such a lovely and sophisticated suit! I adore the shirring! Take a look at the gorgeous shirred Jil Sander at ImagineFashion.com

Nice to see some activity on here again!
That’s a pretty swimsuit except for the fact that it would be useless to actually wear. The minute you step onto a sandy beach it would start getting dingy.
The black version might be a bit more useful (though I’d really love it if it came in a colour).

This is what would have happened if Grecian goddesses wore swimsuits…and what’s more, Lolita and Bardot would be proud.

Omiru gets all the buzz, then fades away. Tragic.

I think this bathing suit/shirt is so versatile. You can go from day to night. Add a little black skirt, take off the blazer and your ready to go out ….. and heels, of course.
36. Dee | July 30th, 2011 at 10:26 am
Wow, what a lovely swimsuit! :)) I love it.
Would it be comfortable when swimming? I would not dare to go into water with such a pretty, fragile suit :)) You can almost combine wit with a high-waisted skirt and some nice heels! :))
xx

I love this vintage inspired bathing suit, it is gorgeous!

One piece suits are way sexy, especially this one. The one piece celebrates other beautiful parts on women, like the shoulders, neck, and depending on the cut – the obliques too! There are a bunch of myths out there.

The vintage feel of this J Crew suit is fantastic! The soft tulle and beautiful white color are so reminiscent of older times. Another great vintage-style suit is the 1982 Vintage Lingerie Maillot by Anne Cole. This white silhouette brings us back decades to a fun and comfy style!
