Spring 2010 Fashion Week Trend: Knotted Details
September 16th, 2009
Style tip? Knotted detailing is, hands down, one of our favorite embellishment trends for Spring 2010. Knotting manages to exude elegance - yet it’s drama is captivating. Use the center of the knot to draw attention to your favorite part of your figure, whether it’s your bust (Thakoon), tummy (Diane von Furstenberg), or shoulderline (Carolina Herrera).
What do you think? How would you wear knotted details? Share your thoughts in the comments!

Love the knot-detailing, but honestly the one thing that stood out to me in this picture is how terribly skinny, especially the model in the middle is. What is wrong with the fashion industry that a woman’s body being that bony is considered beautiful? It’s sick!

I am totally behind this. Especially that Thakoon dress!

First I agree with Sophia’s comment. OMG how skinny they are!
Love the knotted look…it is also showing up in accessories, like necklaces, bracelets, and of course you can always knot a scarf.
