Spring 2009 Fashion Week Trend: Thick Strap Sandals
September 12th, 2008
Style tip? Spring’s sandal is bold - with thick straps and a high heel. And it works as well with feminine, floaty outfits as it does with tailored, structured ones.

I probably wouldn’t, but only because thick straps make my feet look weird! It’s a cute style.

Some look like big bandages. The Oscar de la Renta looks a bit more feminine. I guess I like feminine looking shoes rather than clunky-chunky styles.

Out of these, I like the Oscar de la Renta one best too….though I’m personally partial to thin straps.

I LOVE this style. It is feminine and makes your foot look dainty against the heavy strap on top of the high heel. I also like the close-toed version with the thick strap across the front for a more work-appropriate look.

I love them! I lot funkier than the dainty, thin strap sandals.
Looks great with skinny jeans.
