Spring 2009 Fashion Week Trend: Yellow Green
September 8th, 2008
Style tip? Yellow green is a tough color to wear, no doubt. We’d recommend keeping it away from your face, like the skirt at Rachel Comey (pictured, left). The other great thing about the Rachel Comey example is that the top and belt help to tone the yellow green down with neutrals.
What do you think? Would you wear yellow green? Share your thoughts in the comments!

Hm… I like the color but don’t know how it would work for me. I’d go with a skirt rather than a dress or blouse (keep the color away from my face). It seems like this is really a neutral in a way.

Yellow-green is my specialty =), its not my favorite color though I pull it off really well. For some reason browner warmer skin tones neutralize the sickly factor and lets the color shine as beautiful and exotic. I have a silk hailter dress in that color with beading (and I normally hate bead work), oranges and darker greens as accents. I also have a couple chartreuse shirts.

Thanks for sharing, Jessie! Agreed that it looks better on warmer, brown skin tones.
