Star USA John Varvatos Longsleeve Linen Cardigan
July 10th, 2008
Guys, this isn’t your grandpa’s cardigan. The texture and toggle closures keeps things modern, and it’s light enough to wear on a summer night. It’s a great color and cut too.
$298 at Bluebee.

Something I just had to point out. Why is the men’s fashion offerings so expensive (with some exceptions of course) compared to the women’s? This website is about ‘style for all’ but then.. this $300 sweater and $150 red shirt and a $165 short-sleeve shirt and $125 hoodie and the biggest surprise of all… how to shop for a bespoke suit?! It kind of sends a message that I don’t think Omiru intends to be sending.

Hi Christa,
We’re providing information based on what the men’s community is asking. The “How to Shop for a Bespoke Suit” article – that’s a prime example of a reader question that’s aimed at a higher than usual price point.
Generally, though, we’re more comfortable showing men’s clothing at a somewhat higher price point because men’s items tend to be more classic. They’re things that men will keep in their wardrobe for years and years. As such, they need to be of higher quality to withstand the wear over that time.
Point well taken though–and we’ll work on getting more affordable options so that even more men can benefit from the advice
Thanks for your comment, Christa.
