Fall 2008 Fashion Week Trend: Long Blazer
February 8th, 2008
Style tip? Cropped blazers dominated the fashion scene for the past several seasons, which is great for long waisted gals. But for those of us with a short waist and long legs, the long blazer is much more figure flattering.
What do you think? Would you wear a long blazer? And if so, with what? Share your thoughts in the comments!

What happens when you’re short and still wants to be in the trend? Any alternatives?

Long Jackets work if you’re short–if you’re short waisted (e.g. have long legs and a short torso). If you’re long waisted (long torso and short legs), opt for cropped jackets instead.

Funny– I got rid of a bunch of old long blazers not long ago and don’t regret doing so! Even though the shape is similar, the 2008 blazers just have a much different feel. These look fresh, where my old ones looked dated. Good reason to shop for more.
