    Hmm..you lost me at the skinny jeans, but the rest I think the teacher in me might wear, though maybe with some kakis.

    I suppose a true schoolteacher wouldn’t be able to pull off the skinny jeans and leopard shoes, but my point was to spice up the usual schoolteacher ensemble! Of course, you can replace the skinny jeans with khaki pants or a pencil skirt, depending on how teacher-y you’re feeling.

    I love the necklace – it reminds me of paperclips. The cardigan is a classic. I can also see a school teacher wearing the flats to accent a more subdued outfit like the cardi/slacks pictured. I’m more of a understated dresser, so I see myself in black slacks/black t-shirt with the flats as a surprise twist.

    Yes! I love your take on the outfit. That’s probably how I would wear it, too. I love going monochromatic and then having a surprise element like a red handbag or funky shoes.
