Those Sperrys are great, I have the same pair and get a lot of compliments.
Numbers 4 and 5 are pretty hideous, though. Go for a pair of Bass Weejun loafers in burgundy, and maybe some suede bucks — actually J Crew’s bucks are a good value.

Ummm, seriously? Did you really just recommend those Kenneth Coles? Those are quite awful. Wow.

Yes, the types of shoe you featured are the summer trend.
But all of them offer no support for your feet and can do some long-term damage.
Flip flops are tiresome in a city. There’s just too much dirt and glass to wear them safely. Better to get a huarache.
Sperrys were big in the 1980s and they’re still not made for walking on anything but the deck of a boat.
Leave the moccasins for smoking pipes in your morning gown.

Sperrys are timeless, a classic, especially the Authentic/Original Brown or Blue. I don’t so much like any other variety inlcuded those pictured.
As for the rest pictured, none of those are appealing to me. I do own some nice leather J. Crew flip flops but save them for the beach or the pool only. I agree with the comment above that flip flops are too problematic for the city. They make my toes feel awfully vulnerable.
My go-t

Was gonna say… My go-to summer shoes are sand suede DBs, some Converse Jack Purcells, and Sperries. A guy doesn’t need much more than that, truly.
