Faux Leather Motorcycle Jacket
November 11th, 2009
Motorcycle jackets are at once edgy and classic - making them a supremely versatile item that works as well with a flowery dress as it does a tee and jeans. And to be kind to animals, faux is the way to go.

“Faux is the way to go?” Does this mean you’ll stop featuring leather shoes, belts and bags?

that looks like a pretty good jacket, but what about riding in the rain? Won’t the furry stuff get wet? Some great leather motorcycle jackets are at http://www.sightseeingreview.com/motorcycleleatherjacket.php

I agree with Squeedle. Honestly, while I realize the way livestock are treated in CAFO’s is appalling, and by buying their products you are supporting the industry, I really think it will take more than this. I try to buy grass-fed beef (often from the farmer’s market!) but leather is a byproduct of the beef industry and that won’t change. If someone were to start making leather from grass-fed cows I’d be happy to support it!
Also as a motorcycle rider I refuse to compromise my safety by buying anything less than a leather (armored) jacket.
Cute jacket though!
