Off we go to Tokyo (and Shanghai)…
October 23rd, 2009
Hi everyone,
For the next couple of weeks, we’re going to be doing things a little differently around here. We’re packing our bags for a whirlwind trip to China and Japan, resuming our normal schedule on Wednesday, November 11.
Our regular fashion tips & tricks will be on hiatus, but we’ll be bringing you inspirations and influences from Asia to whet your style appetite. As we’ll be on the road, expect a less regular posting schedule - but also expect some fun, fresh styles, along with tips for how to translate these inspirations into your own wardrobe.
Cheers,
Trisha and the Omiru Team

Great plan! I lived in Taiwan last year and had so much fun shopping at night markets and boutique shops. I can’t wait to hear about your experiences. Some of the asian fashion was a bit too feminine for my taste, but I also think living there made me more comfortable with softening up my outfits. Happy travels!

Have fun! Chinese and Japanese fashion is so great – try to be the most representative you can, while still showing off their flair and uniqueness!

I’m so excited! I was really impressed by how stylish and put together the Japanese were when we traveled there last year. The socks with open toed shoes were a real surprise but somehow they worked.
