Spring 2010 Fashion Week Trend: Sequined Disco Dresses
September 14th, 2009
Style tip? The disco 70s and the over-the-top 80s shone a spotlight on sequins and shine - so in today’s backwards looking fashion culture, it’s no surprise to see a resurgence of this glittery embellishment. Our favorite look places these sequins all over a cocktail-length dress in a simple silhouette. With these sequined disco dresses, keep your other accessories minimal - a snappy pair of heels and a clutch will do the trick.
What do you think? How would you wear sequined disco dresses? Share your thoughts in the comments!

Your advice is “top drawrer”! With all of that glitter the accessories should be simple!

I’ve never really been a fan of anything glitzy and “blingy” but those are lovely silhouettes! I especially like the simplicity of the Cynthia Steffe.

I love it. I just need a place to wear it.
How fun and festive. I really would love to look like a disco ball! Really!!

I LOVE sequins. Always have. So I’m thrilled that they’re making a come-back. I agree that it’s sometimes hard to find a place to wear them in full force like this, though. Nevertheless, that doesn’t mean I’m above trying . . .
