Fall 2009 Fashion Week Trend: Seasonless Style
February 20th, 2009
Style tip? Winters are getting warmer - and designers are adjusting. We’re seeing a good number of runway looks that could very well have come from the Spring collections. If you live in a warm climate, you can do as these designers do and wear your Spring clothes early (plus a sweater and/or jacket).
What do you think? Would you wear seasonless style? Share your thoughts in the comments!

I’ve been trying this to an extent with a couple of spring dresses I currently have. I bring them into fall and winter with coordinating colored tights. a classic jacket or cardigan and tall boots. The key to making this work for me is the fabric of the dress. I try to use a seasonless jersey or light knit. It doesn’t work as well on me in lighter fabrics, like linen or cotton.

i love the look from Abaete. I live in San Francisco which generally requires you to dress in layers year round. I could probably wear this look, but might not end up ever getting around to taking off the outer layers 😛

I live in California and travel from the southern end to the high desert frequently so I move through a lot of climates and have always dressed in a manner that is seasonless. Really glad to know that designers are now considering this.

Wonderful! I live in Arizona and always thought my state was generally fashion deprived.. unless you think flip flops are the greatest things to ever happen to the world.
