Issac Mizrahi Trapeze Dress

Isn’t this lipstick pink trapeze dress simply sweet? We love the retro feel–and how it flatters women with short legs.
$34.99 at Target.

I still don’t understand why maternity wear has become fashionable for the non-pregnant.

Me either! This works if you’re: (a) stick skinny with a boy figure; or (b) have a shape, but hate giving the hint that you have curves and don’t mind having a uniboob.

What do you think about wearing a dress like this with a belt? It reigns in the shape while providing a bit of structure to the silhouette.

Amen! I dont get it either!! Please someone explain. It looks like something a little girl would wear.

I don’t know if a belt could help this dress.Due to the volumous shape, it would create love handles if the belt were to be worn at the waist and a lot of poofy ruching on top.
I’m just biased against these types of dresses, they remind me of buffet attire:eat all you want and no will every know the difference.
