Bright colors are cheerful and fresh. I found the classic GAP bubblegum pink trench/raincoat on e-bay and love it. My khaki trench never makes it out of the closet any more.

Bubblegum pink–love it! What’s your favorite color to wear it with?

I’m loving the brightly coloured trench coats too – it’s perfect for spring, especially when we’re still getting snow and you need to brighten up the day artifically!

I like wearing a white blouse or sweater with it because it sets off the pink so well, but it’s almost a neutral because it looks just as nice with yellows, blues, greens, even reds. I avoid the muted fall colors like eggplant and mustard yellow.

Wow, you’ve really expanded my view of bubblegum pink. I never thought to pair it with all of those colors, but come to think of it, you’re right–it works great with all of them. Great tip, Mimi!
