1980s inspired fashion at Betsey Johnson, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and Preen.

Style tip?  Ah, the 80s.  The oversized sweater, the giant pouf sleeves, the leggings.
Wear with irony (and sparingly).

What do you think?  Would you wear 1980s fashion?  Share your thoughts in the comments!

Absolutely. Anyone with taste would wear that. In fact it looks more or less exactly like the 2009F ready to wear! The middle sweater dress with stripes is very nice. That blue dress id dearly like to own as well. The yellow printed blouse is excellent. Who would not like it. I don’t see any camel toe, and while I wouldn’t wear leggings with a shorter top myself, thats just how fashion shows roll.

Definitely not. The 80s are in the past and if they ever come back, it will be only for a couple of seasons the most.

Need that keen on the 80’s, but i’m sure you could take pieces of the fashion and combine it with contemporary fashion. I wouldn’t wear a whole 80’s outfit though! I always found Michael J Fox’s clothes pretty cool in Back to the Future. I just don’t think that women’s wear in the nineteen eighties was complementary to female figure.

that is so not 80’s fashion. thats just plain ugly. at least 80’s fashion had fun colors. i liked it very much. actually, fashion goes in circles. it can stay for however long it wants to stay. 😛

I was a kid in the 80’s and wore only kid’s fashions in the 80’s, which was very different from what teens or young adults in their 20’s wore in the 80’s. But I’d love to wear 80’s styles today because then I’d feel like I went back in time to the 80’s and got to wear “grown up” clothes LOL I do love the styles, they were fun, they were creative and expressive far more so than even 90’s fashions. I wasn’t crazy about what I wore as 90’s teen.

I was also a 90’s teenager and didn’t like wearing simple stuff like skirts, jeans, tops. 80s fashions were more fun and even kid-like in their charm and freedom; people think they were the worst fashions of all time but they were really cute and fun and they weren’t bad at all. I’d prefer to wear that than anything made from 1996 through 2006. .
